I'm pretty sure this is Isle of Arran, anyway! If anyone knows better, please do correct me.
Watercolour by Kenneth Rainbow, painted in 1951, almost certainly sketched on the spot, and possibly painted there too.
As best I can read it, it appears to say "Aran" in the bottom left, with just one R; but I'm fairly sure this is Isle of Arran (West Scotland) not Aran (West Ireland).
