Three generations of Semmenses - the nine-year-old George, father of *coshipi and *Wodewose, grandfather of =conskeptical and ~cocooned and photographer of all the colour pictures that will be in this gallery; behind him his grandfather [link] and father - who was obviously therefore not the photographer on this occasion. Behind them all is the familiar shape of Dover's East Cliff, suggesting that this was taken somewhere very near where the Hoverspeed service to France now operates from.
